The July 21st episode of A Mick A Mook and A Mic will feature Dwight Hicks, the former San Francisco 49ers’ All-Pro, two-time Super Bowl Champion and current actor.
A native of New Jersey, Dwight began his NFL career in 1979, and became a key player in the 49ers dynasty in the 1980s, winning Super Bowls in 1982 and 1985. He played Free Safety and was named to four consecutive Pro Bowls from 1981-1984. He was also an All-Pro selection in 1981.
After his football career, Dwight went on to become a popular character actor in films such as The Rock, Jack, Armageddon, and In the Mix. He also made appearances on various television shows, including How I Met Your Mother, Castle, Body of Proof, Cold Case, The Practice, The X-Files, ER and The O.C. He also co-hosted The Point After, a local San Francisco TV program that aired immediately after 49ers Sunday broadcasts on KTVU.
